Rules of the Road

Safety is our number one concern! The following rules have been created for your safety and the safety of those around you. These are not suggestions, these are the RAC Rules of the Road.

• Ride single file
• Stop at all red and yellow lights
• Stop individually at all stop signs, one foot on the ground
• Use proper hand signals
• Stay in the bike lane
• Leave space between riders
• Passing on the left
• NO phone calls while riding
• NO texting while riding
• NO photographs or videos while riding
• NO earbuds while riding
• Ride predictably
• Parents must stay with their 5th grader
• Wear helmets
• Wear safety vests
• Follow volunteer directions
• The RAC is a ride, not a race
• Encourage all fellow riders
• Have fun!
